lcfuel>>> no disrespect to you or your Pens but the staff didnt do that great of a job is that they never played very well and usually finished last in the league and got the top picks the past several years and got to pick the best players out there like Fleury, Crosby and Malkin.

Of course staying in Pittsburgh would be best for the city. Hopefully they can do it right and draw the fans back.

If they do move, I'd rather that they not move to a US city where they are enticed by big money and promises and have lackluster interest past the first year after relocating ( Hello Carolina ). Moving to KC or Portland will likely turn out to be the same situation.

If they do move, I hope it is someplace they will be appreciated and have a long future. Obviously that would be in Canada someplace. Winnipeg, Hamilton, Quebec City, or Toronto sounds like a good fit.

If the pens didnt stay in pittsburgh I would be devestated! They've been around for so long, and they have payers on the team that really have a bright future. Malkin, Crosby, and Staal are all really young... and REALLY good! The pens are 3rd in their division right now, which is pretty impressive for a team of young, random guys who havent even really played together before. The Pens should definatley try harder to amke the deal happen so they can stay in Mellon Arena, at least for a couple more years. And Mario should pay to build them a huge, new stadium!!!!
GO PENGUINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As a Penguins fan I obviously want them to stay put. It isn't that they have UNTIL the 20th to get the license, it is that the State Gaming Commission is going to, or is supposed to, announce on the 20th WHO gets it. There are 3 groups that are competing for it and that is when the State is expected to choose. I don't really believe that the "Plan B" is going to happen. I never bought into it. Actually I think it is more an excuse for the State to claim they aren't biased one way or the other. So the question to me is which way did the State Gaming Board decide long ago? I mean the team owned the land for the new Arena either way, so maybe they were pretty much assured they were getting the license. Maybe that has alot to do with the Bid being dropped to buy the team. Maybe as it got so close to the issuing of the license for the slots he found out what was basically happening.

we will see whilst the time comes. Pittsburgh would have Hines Ward, yet they are in actuality a run-oriented group, and anybody has in many situations occurring that for years. i think of nonetheless that dropping Jerome Bettis affected the Steelers extra so than maximum folk found out. even nonetheless in his very final season he became extensively speaking a third down/objective line back, the working sport in Pittsburgh final season nonetheless tailed off an undesirable lot with out him. Pittsburgh has all maximum continually had a competative group dating back to the mid 90s, even nonetheless i think of they are in all probability to look slightly extra "standard" for the subsequent 3 hundred and sixty 5 days or so till Pittsburgh can particularly improve their protection, or do in spite of it takes to strengthen the passing sport. i do no longer think of it relatively is an enviroment that favors making Roethlisburger among the acceptable spots of elite QB that are occupied by making use of Tom Brady and Peyton Manning. Roethlisburger on my own has yet to tutor that he can dictate the %. of a sport along with his arm on a consistant foundation with a set that did no longer have the helping solid that the superbowl 40-one Steelers had. do no longer forget that Randle El, now the huge-out for Washington additionally had a large hand in the offense that season.

I would like the Pens to stay in Pittsburgh i like tradition and hate this moving teams for the sake of money like baseballs Jeffry Loria. Pittsburgh should try harder for a deal and maybe that's going to happen because Jim Balsillie was at the Pens vs Habs game last night, cross the fingers and hope!

I think they need to get things worked out where they are. The staff has done a great job building up a young, talented roster and it would be a shame to see the franchise move. With moving also comes a lot of trades.

I hope things work out for the penguins because they have a good team and deserve the support of a good city. Pittsburgh is a great hockey city and can support them especially if they are good team. However if all else fails.. move them to Winnipeg please!!!
