I see them break all the time on TV and was wondering how much money those composite pro-model sticks costs vs the wood ones? I don't play hockey so I have no clue.

Will the Hawks be sellers at the trade deadline? Can they get it going again and make a playoff run? Or are they getting a high draft pick again this year?

Yes they will have him out of Philadelphia. The Flyers are looking to dump salary. For a while it looked if he was going back to Colorado. I knew it was a bad pick up from the start for the Flyers. He has been Injury plagued all season. Despite all those injuries there are many teams looking at him who are in the playoff race (Atlanta, Anaheim, and San Jose). But another thing I would like to ask is who would these players be willing to give up. Who ever does win the Peter Forsberg sweepstakes better be prepared to give up someone who is a top player. This will not be a 3-for-1 Deal like San Jose did with Boston to get Joe Thornton. Someone will cough up a big player. This deal will be the Blockbuster deal of the season.

I believe they need to keep him, since he has been gettin better because of his skate. He's a veteran leader and something the Flyers really need right now, along with Hatcher to put on the big hits and make defensive plays.

What's the point? All it does is keep franchises barely afloat that shouldn't have hockey teams or that have tight-*** owners. And in exchange teams can no longer have star players. They can have one, sure, two at max, but with the salaries they can't have an incredible team like the Habs of the 70's or the Oilers of the 80's. What's the point of drafting and 'growing' a player if he can just vamoose to greener pastures when he turns 27?

I've sorta answered my question already, but I just needed to vent. What do you guys think?

We all know that Bettman needs to go, so please leave him out of your answers.

If you were in charge of the National Hockey League, how would you fix it? Everything, except what you would do to Bettman, is in play here. Teams you would move, rules you would change, etc.

In the Detroit Redwings game vs. the New York Islanders on Jan 30th, Nicklas Lidstrom was listed as being -1 in the game stats, however he was also listed as having 3 assists. If the Islanders only scored 3 goals, how can Lidstrom be -1? The only thing I can think of is his third point came in overtime. If your +/- is not effected in overtime, why should you be able to get points?

I never said that we suck period. I have been a kings fan my whole life and I dont respect the people who say "I know alot more about it than You" Its right to have your oppinion about what I say but next time dont tell me.. I have respect for the kings and every other NHL team out there it takes power and will to get out here and do what they do. I should know I played for the Jr NHL Jr La Kings. Its hard work thats all there is to it.

We all know Gary Bettman is full of it. The guy even LOOKS shady and crooked. But if not him, who? Who do you think the best commissioner for the NHL would be and why?

Personally, I'm thinkin' Gretzky ('cuz he's Gretzky) or maybe Brett Hull since he's never been afraid to tell it like it is.

I am going to a Ranger game March 3rd and I really want to get maybe an autograph from their current players like Jaromir Jagr and Shanahan. Has anyone ever been to their games and gotten autographs. I know you have to wait around but can anyone just let me know how long or where or if thats even true.

What a horrid sport. Gary Bettman has created the NBA. Awful to watch no hitting, fighting, intensity and any touch is penalized by the 4 officials clogging the ICE. THIS SPORT HAS BEEN RUINED!!!!
