I live in New York City, but my ice hockey gear is at my parents' house. It's heavy (about 40 pounds) and large. Has anyone had experience shipping adult ice hockey gear? How did you do it? Were you happy with the results?

I notice a lot of people asking why the ratings are low in the U.S. for hockey, but has anyone in Canada ever watched the broadcasts from there? I am from Toronto but have lived in Australia for years where we are lucky to get a couple of U.S. broadcasts once in a while, edited to fit into 90 minutes. I don't mean this to be anti-American, just to point out that the Versus network has no idea how to broadcast a hockey game. We get some here from Fox Sports too that vary in quality, some are as bad as Versus and others are fairly good. The problem with almost all U.S. broadcasts is that they don't do a proper play by play call of the game; the guys calling the game talk about players and stats and all kinds of things while the game is going on. They need to listen to Bob Cole or someone like that. I would never watch their broadcasts if I had a choice.

I'm about to turn 32 in February and I have achieved a lot so far in my life because Im a dreamer and I have turned a lot of my far fetched dreams into reality. Because of this, I feel I can accomplish almost anything if I apply myself. I always need a new challenge in my life and a few months ago I bought my goalie equiptment not with the goal of playing Pro, but just trying something Ive always wanted to try. Right from the start it felt very natural and being 6'4 and in great shape while playing the butterfly, I have generated some attention. A few people have mentioned I should try and take this as far as I can but they dont know I'm 32. Initially I just laughed it off, but recently I thought that even though its a huge long shot, maybe its not entirely impossible. I've never heard of any goalie signing a new contract in their 30's, but then again there are a few NHL goalies who are in their late 30's like Roloson. I'd like to try just so I dont have any regrets? What do you thnk?

I hear a lot of people ripping on Bettman who would you suggest as the new commisioner? I supported Bettman for a long time I think the lockout needed to happen, the salary cap is good, salaries were getting way out of control. The new rules open up the ice and make the game more exciting to the casual fan and first time viewer. But the TV contract with VS is a joke, and the league markets Crosby and Ovechkin as the future of the league and must see acts but then teams in the west (who need the most help btw) only see these players once every 3 years. What does the league need to do to get back on track and who should be the second commish?

The Nielsen ratings came in from last weeks All Star game. Only 400K+ homes watched the game on the VS channel. 5 things mentioned that beat it: 1) American Idol, 2) Mythbusters, 3) Top Chef, 4) Some Renovation show/do it yourself (I forget the name of) and 5) a 40 year old re-run of the Andy Griffith show on TV Land. Can someone explain this to me? What does Bettman need to do?

I asked Pittsburgh Fans if the Pens leave and they wouldn't like it if they did as for you in Kansas city who lost the NBA's Kings to Sacremento in 1985, Baseball's A's to Oakland in 1968, and the NHL's Scouts in 1976 now the New Jersey Devils, but you guys held on to NFL's Chiefs, MLS' Wizards, and MLB's Royals all have One Championship Each.

In light of Penguins Possible Move to Kansas City, Did you know that the Pirates Almost Moved to Charlotte NC If no Deal of a New Ballpark wasn't made same goes for the Steelers they may have moved to Los Angeles, Well they got a Deal to replace Three rivers Stadium in the Last minute, Pittsburgh the Clock is Approaching Midnight and If it strikes the Penguins will move to Kansas City.
In Your Opinion Will the Pens Stay in Pittsburgh and get a new Arena or will they move to Kansas City and Play in the New Sprint Center Just Answer the Question.
