You want Marty back in there???? Why he's the reason we don't have a Stanley Cup.The team is in shambles from some of the players all the way up to the owner. They need to get rid of Avery Cloutier,Dallman,Teverdosky,Blake,Ivanans,Thorton,Willsie,
McCauley for the players.
I'll give the coaching staff a break since they inherited that was'nt the best. But for the management oh boy,Tim "LiesWeekly" Leiweke has got be to be ousted before he sets the team back any further and now for our absentee owner,Mr Anschutz please sell the team to someone who will put a winning team on the ice.For god's sake this is LA not some little cowpoke town in BFE,there's too many other things to spend our hard earned money in LA when our beloved Kings aren't winning. We need an owner who is interested in attending games and showing some passion, love him or hate him look at Mark Cuban.Mr. Anschutz only interest in the Kings was to obtain the property that the Staples Center sits on and build his "Entertainment Center" next to it.He's got $250 million to spend on bringing Becham to LA to play soccer which nobody goes to watch. He's trying to get a deal done to move the Penguins to Kansas City into the building he owns, hhmm a conflict of interest yeah i think so.
We die hard fans have change the slogan of the year from "Play Hard" to "Next Year"

I'm a King's fan and I'm going to go against the crowd here a little.
In my eyes they are not that far from being a good team.
They have a lot of young talent and more is on the way. They can roll out 4 decent forward lines and the top 4 or 5 defensemen are also pretty good.
Obviously the Goaltending has been a big issue, and yeah they haven't gotten that right since Rogie Vachon but take away ANY teams starter AND backup for a long stretch and that's gotta hurt.
If the Kings had had just an AVERAGE save percentage right now, they'd be in the middle of the pack (and in the playoffs). Give them Luongo (who they DID try to get) and they've given up about 70 LESS GOALS.
Garon or Cloutier may yet work out. Or a deal may be made.
Next season, I think some of you may be very surprised.

The Kings are a disaster. The management has given up, you can tell from the Conroy trade. They should probably trade all their veterans, they are so far from being good. And to think, they are one of the teams that was really hardline about the labor situation. They sure didn't parlay it into putting a good product on the ice.

It is a shame the Kings are one of the worst teams in hockey this year. They have plenty of young talent though so hopefully they'll be a playoff contender soon.
