The New York Ranger's Jaromir Jagr is the highest at 8.36 million.

Brad Richards of the Tampa Bay Lightning is second at 7.8 million.

Niklas Lidstrom, Alexei Yashin, and Mats Sundin are tied at third at 7.6 million this season.

Patrik Elias and Zdeno Chara fall into fourth at 7.5 million.

And rounding off the top 5 at 7 million are Ed Jovanovski and Jarome Iginla.

Vincent Lecavalier makes 7.167 million, but those are the top from their team. (Richards being the highest from TB)

Jarmoir jager is making 9-10 mill ( there is a jager exception rule for the 20% salary since he already had a contract) and then it would be either Lidstrom or Richards.

I think there are many tied at the maximum of 20% of salary cap. I think Nick Lidstrom is there as well as Jagr and several others. I could be wrong but I think I'm not.
