ben's wrong, the sleeves are the same, it's just wider, and fatter to make room for the chest protector
the bottom, can be cut shorter, depending on the what the goalie wants.

A goalie cut jersey would be compared usually to an XXL body (or sometimes even slightly larger), with a M or an L sleeve length. The biggest change comes at the width of the sleeve which is based about halfway down the side (much wider than standard) and only loses an inch or two at the wrist. Some goalie jerseys even have a curve at the end to keep from having interference between the opening and the butt of your stick because the sleeve is so wide.

You probably mean jersey for playing the game!! Well the size would have to be bigger than the others for the extra equiptment a goaltender needs as compared to a forward/defenseman.

The sleeves are cut differently to make it easier to move your arms. They are wider and shorter.
