If you want a job that you could do now, you could work at a nursing home. Older people in institutions can be lonely. Plus, you could list it favorably on your college applications. I'm not sure if they have the big brother/big sister programs anymore, but you could volunteer with younger children.
As far as jobs you could study for in college:
Social Worker,
Psychologist
Lawyer (you could specialize in legal issues which are meaningful to you, and help people)
Patient Advocate
Nurse/Doctor/Midwife
Teacher
Physical Therapist
