Hes been stabbed in the back twice now by the Spurs board and Daniel Levy. Once with Ramos and now with Mourinho. If I was Jol I would have walked out by now. Im a Gooner but I still feel sorry for the man.

Have you been surprised by Morinho's departure?
Do you think this new coach is up to the task?
Do you think we still have a chance in the premier league or the champions league?
What about tomorrow's match?

two things will happen, you will carry on winning trophies 2 every season, in which case he wasn't that SPECIAL, or you go back to being a bunch of nearly rans with overpaid prima-donnas.

or maybe there is a third scenario called the "ken bates downfall" which basically is the owner pays the manager to a job and butts out or you drop 2 divisions, the names david o'leary, rio ferdinand, arjen robben, schevchenko and alan smith spring to mind.

He quit as the Chelsea manager because 'he couldn't make an omlette with bad eggs' after their 1-1 draw with Rosenborg in their opening Champions League game on Tuesday night

A statement on the Chelsea website confirmed: "Chelsea Football Club and Jose Mourinho have agreed to part company today (Thursday) by mutual consent."

I am really upset! Mourinho was a great character and will be sorely missed. He was such a good manager.

What do you think?

Chelsea fan forever!

So just about everyone knows about Jose Mourinho's departure from Chelsea now. I think Chelsea are the losers here. Mourinho can walk into most top clubs in Europe and bring success. But what about Chelsea? Their success and identity as a top European club in the last few years has been down mostly to Mourinho. Can they recover and continue to be genuine contenders in England and Europe? or is Abromovich making a huge mistake?

Like him or loath him, you got to admit, he was fun to have around the premiership...

too many boring managers scared to say what they feel.

Even Fergie lets Quiroz handle that sort of thing for him now.

Hello England!!!
For those who watch Football (not American Football), I wanted to know what you guys thought about David Beckham in concerns of the National Team. Will he make the team for Euro 2008? What do you guys think? In my opinion, I think he should be given a chance. Yes, he is injured. However, when he is healthy and fit, there are not many players in the world that could take his place. Yes, SWP is also very good. To my understanding, he has a more of an attacking style of play. Becks is more of a play maker. Does England need an attacker when Owne and Hesky is on the pitch, or a play-maker,which leads me back to my real question......will Becks play for England in Euro 2008, the 2010 world cup...Both perhaps?Neither? Let me know your opinion if possible.

From the Curious American,
Freddy G
