I think this is a massive mistake on Chelseas part and youve got to kind of feel sorry for the fans, as im sure the percentage will tell you that Mourinhos done brilliantly for them and wouldnt have wanted him gone.
It looks like Abramovich has decided he wants a puppet (or muppet!!!) that he can instruct what to do, someone who he can influence in what team to pick and what players to buy.
All us other fans would taunt Chelsea's fans that the only reason theyve won anything is because theyve got money, and undoubtedly Abramovich's money has played a massive part but i think Mourinho played a big part too, just having money doesnt guarantee success and when he said he was the special one you believed him!
I think there nuts for getting rid of him, and i'd be happy to see Abramovich look like a fool and regret his decision by the end of the season

I think there are two issues for Chelsea. One is Mourinho is gone and Clarke and Grant are untried in the EPL.
Next any prospective manager will see how much of a meddler Roman is and not want to get involved in there. He has lessened his managers role more and more.
And why is Shevchenko on that team? He is rubbish but will get more starts with mourinho gone now.

I am not a Chelsea fan but i will greatly miss Jose Morinhou. He was a great character and an excellent manager. Watch the team slide down to mid table!

Yes and the sooner he goes the better. Chelsea need a great manager not a yes man to a pillock of a chairman

Roman Abramovich is probably the worst owner of the present day. Lofty expectations are one thing but expecting your team to get the treble every season is a bit ridiculous. I'm completely sympathetic towards all chelsea fans... and i'm a gooner!

Naturally....only now the roman empire has a tinge of russian royal blood: nevertheless it'll still all continue to spill. Do however wait to be surprized by the Israel??...now that the training camp has been handed to them on a silver spoon.

This has always been the case, when the owner interfere with the manager..... Abramovic need to back off if he want Chelsea to be a succesfull club.... For one, i agree with Morinho when he refused to buy Shevchenko.... it's much better to go for Torres instead, cheaper, younger and better.......

Cheslea will remain a great team even after Morinho's departure. But it will need some time to stand on its feet.
Grant is a temporary solution, he will be replaced ASAP.

Maybe for the first few seasons - morale etc, specially if Terry n Lampard follow him. The Premiership will be a much more boring place now that hes gone - was such good entertainment watching him. lol

they aren't even one of the best in europe. this is measured by the amount of european trophies contested in the last few years - milan and liverpool have won once and lost final once, barca have won once, arsenal have reached final once, i can't see chelsea in amongst those 4 teams that have reached the last 3 finals (the ones mourinho has been in charge of chelsea for), can you????
