I have followed all the premiership action this season and im a loyal fan of the english game, my team is Portsmouth :)
But... with the fate of so many games being decided by players cheating, or bad decisions by the officials and with all the corruption in the game, has it lost the main aim.... To be a game of Football !! Seems to be more about celebrity, money, and scandal. Is a profesional game yet it is very unprofesional! With no television replays in important desisions that end up costing games, points, and even status in a leagues it just seems one big farce. Im going off the game fast, as it is now. Especialy seeing some of the decisions in the recent Sunderland games, the forever diving Ronaldo's and games being decided by cheats acting like superman or wounded soldiers. I love the game, but its turning into a joke !!!!!!!!!!! Anyone agree, you'de be unrealistic not to !!

He'd have a combined score of 12 Out Of 20

Easy enough. !!

So, which current manager would score the highest marks out of 20 in your opinion for how good he is as a manager and how good he was as a player ????

christmas is nearing and united present us the best gift just minutes ago!

looking at the statistics, united definitely deserved the win
but credit to everton as they did play well in keeping united at bay before the penalty.

who's your man of the match?

Premier League footballers seem to love waving imaginary cards when they or teammates get fouled, asking the ref to book the tackler. Should this be punished for trying to influence the ref, or is it just part of the modern game?

They play too much attacking football and it works in EPL but when they play against Italian teams they will struggle. That's why I'm confident that AC Milan will win easily. We have the best players in every position especially in defence and it may look like a very hard match but I think it will be an easy one if Arsenal continue to play only attacking football.

I have nothing against Morrisons (their dough balls are absolutely delicious), but I thought that Alan, of all people, would have been above all that!!!

Thank you

For Capello... Will he be known as Sir Fabio (if he brings success) OR will he be left saying... "WHAT A MISTAKA TO MAKA!" if it all goes wrong (Allo, Allo)?

Compared to Italy and Spain, ENGLAND IS A DIFFERENT KETTLE OF FISH! In the space of just 1 week the British press have probably know everything about him - from his shoe size to his former lovers! So no secrets Fabio!

Also I think that, whilst many including myself would have preferred an Englishman, I think that appointing a foreigner should be viewed more as a quick-fix solution than a long term answer.

The FA promised us two things,
1) A world class manager
2) A thorough root and branch investigation into the English coaching set-up

The first objective has clearly been delivered, but we are yet to see results to the latter! If we can't win the world cup with Capello's expertise, then something clearly has to be done at grass roots level! Perhaps a change to the premier league schedule is needed?
