Yaaaawwwwwnnnnn! I've not heard that one for a good ten minutes. Yeah, yeah, technically the club is in Salford. Until the 1980s Manchester and Salford were just two towns in Lancashire, then Greater Manchester became an independent county and now Both clubs belong to Manchester. Have you considered, though, that if Man Utd were not so independently successful, that the council might not have back-handed City a state of the art stadium as a legacy of the Commonwealth Games because Utd would want the same treatment? Who comes to Manchester to see City? And of course, your favourite footballing moment provided by Dennis Law... You lot should be a bit more grateful of your globetrotting neighbours. You should also be honoured that we still consider you a Derby game, since you spent so long in lower divisions that we might just as well have taken up derby status with Rochdale or Stockport... Oh, and now you've got your billions, don't you think it's time you got Oasis to write you some new songs? "F*ck off back to London" isn't exactly a Lennon and McCartney masterpiece is it?
