If an NFL team has two tie games, is that considered better or worse than a win and a loss?
Another words, if one team is 10 - 6 and another team is 9 - 5 - 2, which team is ahead? Or are they considered the same in the standings?

Does anybody think that the Patriots' regular season was a little too perfect? I mean with the whole cheating scandal thing coming out and then they end up 16-0, not to mention that Brady and Moss set individual records and the offense set a team record. I admit, Brady is alright but look around him...awesome O-Line and running back to back him up. But I think if you put the next five best quarterbacks in the league (especially Manning and Favre), they would do even better with that offense. Also, Moss hadn't had a year close to that since he was in Minnesota, even when he had Jerry Rice opposite of him in Oakland.

would the Raens fire brian Billick? He won a super bowl and the Ravens went 13-3 the year before. They had one bad year and he is let go.

They played in what had to one of the worst divisons in recent NFL history with the other 3 teams going 12-36.

Keep in mind the Jets and Bills both swept the Dolphins for 4 of those 12 wins and the Bills swept the Jets for 2 of those wins which means the rest of the teams won 6 games total outside of the division.

Jets qb - 2nd year Kellen Clemens
Dolphins qb - Cleo Lemon
Bills qb - rookie Trent Edwards

Could it have been any easier?

Well I mean I know why.... but isn't it dead in the water right now. Nobody on television even talks about it now... it's really just a moot point. I mean it's already been established several times what happened... Belichick and Mangini extended eachother the courtesy of having cameramen on the field during the game. Belichick changed his mind in the playoffs because he felt the game was too important and had the Jets camera guy removed. In turn... Mangini got upset because they had an agreement and decided to have the Patriots camera guy removed in the season opener in the Meadowlands. Just so happens though that where the Patriots placed their guy was against league rules and it was not against the rules where the Jets had their's placed even though they are both receiving the same exact information... etc, etc, etc. Everyone knows this is an outdated rule considering the ways around it... correct? I mean... isn't this all established, why is this still an issue to some people?

Men or Women?

Simple enough. I see a lot of females that answer questions in here...some smarter than others, and some I have actually asked advice from myself...

So who is more knowledgeable about football? Men or Women?

Opinions please

I am not a Patriots fan nor hater, so don't give me any crap. Also, I don't want to hear why they can't be stopped or that they will win it. I want to know what team other than the Patriots can win and why they will win.

I was watching a game in a bar with a bunch of people, went up to the bar to get a drink and this black guy started talking to me about the game. He asked me who I was rooting for and I said the team that was currently losing. He said to me, "You know why your team is losing right? Too many white people on the team. They can't compete".

I just walked away but why would someone say something like that?

When Peyton Manning broke Marino's record and threw for 49 everyone and i mean EVERYONE acted like this was the craziest thing of all time and that it would never happen again. When Brady does it no one seems to care, everyone just acts as if its normal or doesnt matter. Manning, who seems to be the "God" of the NFL for whatever reason, gets deemed as one of the greatest b/c of this feat and then Brady breaks Manning's record (once again proving he is better) and everyone goes "yay" and then just turns the other cheek. What gives?

Anybody but me find it funny that Peyton Manning's 2004 season is generally accepted as one of the best ever, even though he didn't win a Super Bowl that year, yet, with Brady (whom eclipsed Manning in TD passes and QB rating) has to win the Super Bowl, according to a lot of people here, to even begin to compare to what Manning did that year?
