Men or Women?
Simple enough. I see a lot of females that answer questions in here...some smarter than others, and some I have actually asked advice from myself...
So who is more knowledgeable about football? Men or Women?

too many variables. depends on which man and which woman. depends on if you are talking just about men and women who paricipate in the Y?A football section or all men and women.
I would say that on average men know more about football then women.
However, in this section the women are far more rational than the men.

Well because a larger majority of men follow sports from a young age, I'd say men as a whole.
However, there are very knowledgeable women out there--so don't assume someone is smart or dumb because of their sex.

i think men have the upper hand because the majority of men have played the game maybe not on the pro level but in some form . i played pop-warner all the way thru college . so i have knowledge up til that point i do not know what goes on in a pro locker room or film room wether its different than college i dont know .
woman either have to watch to learn , get info from brothers fathers or boyfriends/husbands that have played the game .
But i will say the vast majority of the woman on here are quite knowledgable when it comes to the game . there are some i would rather take their advice over some of the guys here

I have to say men because most women don't play attention and don't care at all about football but I know women who come up with better points than men when arguing about sports

I'm a girl, and I could hang with most men in a trivia or rules quiz, but OVERALL, I would say men because there are more men than women football YA users and fans.
Personally I think most men are into it for the sheer brutal fun they get from physical competition while most women into football are there to impress a man. Just my opinion

kind of a silly question, any individual might be an expert or totally oblivious, regardless og gender.
