Anybody but me find it funny that Peyton Manning's 2004 season is generally accepted as one of the best ever, even though he didn't win a Super Bowl that year, yet, with Brady (whom eclipsed Manning in TD passes and QB rating) has to win the Super Bowl, according to a lot of people here, to even begin to compare to what Manning did that year?

I agree...Pretty sad....

But, at least those you actually appreciate the game don't agree with the wing nuts that seem to come out of the wood woodwork and make these foolish statements....

To those who think Manning is so much better because he sat out 1/2's and sat the last game....Think about this.....How do you suppose Brady (Who was on pace for over 60 TD in good weather) would have done in that nice, comfy DOME in Indy...

Don't misinterpret me...I am a big fan of Manning, great QB...But how many cold weather, out door QB have even come close, say nothing of breaking these records......

People also forget that Manning gets to play 8 games indoors and Brady has to fight the weather. just look at the game 2 weeks ago against the Jets where they had to pretty much abandon the passing game because the weather was so bad. Right turkey head

Calm down, the Brady/Patriot bashers are in the extreme minority. Most football fans in general understand and respect what Brady and the Patriots are on the way to accomplishing.

Get used to it haters (and crybaby pusssies), Brady wins his fourth Super Bowl this season. He will have six or seven before he calls it a career.

Let's not forget that Manning had at least 3 horrible seasons when his career started in Indy. Brady has been consistently good from day one! Yes, Manning didn't play the last 2 games because he already broke the record by then. Had he not done so, he would have play all 16 games. That doesn't even matter. What matters is that Brady now owns the record and I couldn't be happier about it.......

I think the most ridiculous thing are delusional Colts bandwagoners that think Peyton is a better QB than Tom Brady, and that Peyton somehow is already one of the best ever...Tom is, Peyton may be one at some point...The rings say it all...

I would like to say that Manning didn't even play the second half in the last two games and Brady played every quarter and only passed him by one and it's only ESPN who said it was one of the best seasons ever and they love Brady so check your facts first

Who said they have to win a superbowl to be considered successful?

I actually would have been more impressed if Brady had broken the record in 15 games as Peyton did.
