I was watching a game in a bar with a bunch of people, went up to the bar to get a drink and this black guy started talking to me about the game. He asked me who I was rooting for and I said the team that was currently losing. He said to me, "You know why your team is losing right? Too many white people on the team. They can't compete".
I just walked away but why would someone say something like that?

Whites are qbs and the o lineman are mostly white. What can he say to that. The Patriots are 16-0 with a white qb and the whole line is white.

it was a racist thing to say but i am sure not intended to be
those who sit around in bars tend to say a lot of things that are unclear or have no meaning.
so lets get back to the question...... which game, how bad were they loosing, did this have any influence on the playoff or bowl picture?

It didnt matter what color he was a guy like that preys on the weak , and seeing how you just walked away and didnt defend yourself , he preyed on the right person .

well he's got a point. except for hockey and maybe baseball, a basketball or football team w/ a lot of blacks is going to be better. they tend to be taller (basketball) faster (football) maybe also the booze gave him some liquid courage and he was looking for a fight. but sometimes the smarter team wins, so he could be wrong too.
