Are they the best team in the NFL this year? Who can beat them?

Well the Patriots havent lost a game so many people would consider them the best team this year. But the best team would include playing under pressure (playoffs) which we will have to wait and see how they preform under intense pressure. I say the Jaguars can beat them or the Colts even though the Pats already beat the colts earlier.

All I have to say, is 16-0, what other team do you know have done that this year. On top of that, they did not have a pancake schedule either(Colts, Cowboys, Chargers) in addition to teams that played them down to the wire as well(ravens, eagles, giants). The patriots deserve the rank of best team for the fact that they faced the best of this year and last years teams and still came out on top. Even with low level teams where a lot of teams overlook and get beat by, they destroyed. By far without discussion, the Pats should be placed as the best team of 2007, especially if they win the lombardy.

Matty,
Yup they are the best team in the NFL this regular season. Even they have said that they will only be the best if they win their next 3 games.
The teams they are studying:
JAGS -> Del Rio has them firing on all 8 cylinders finally. The only way the Pats will beat them is for the JAGS to self destruct like the Ravens did.
COLTS -> Most of the weapons will be back in the lineup for the January 21st game. Everyone talking about the Bolts downing the Colts obviously didn't watch that Monday night game. The Colts lost on a last second field goal with the 3rd string in the game. Plus the Colts - Pats have probably the best rivalry in football right now.
the PACK-> Most think Dallas, but I think the 'boys are going to self destruct again. Until that young gun gets used to the pressure they are a one and out playoff team (Just like the Colts 5 years ago so there are good things ahead of them). The PACK still has enough talent and experience to get the job done in XLII. The NFC is pretty much a joke.

Yes they are.

Colts, Jags and Dallas are the only team that have a shot, any other team is just garbage.
