That makes no sense, you took the 3 worst teams and just disregarded the better, Colts, Cowboys, Steelers, Chargers, and Ravens. How much credit can we give you for such a pathetic question? :)

You fail to mention the part of their schedule that had them playing and beating 6 playoff teams. You also fail to mention that that they have beaten the # 2, 3 and 4 seed in the AFC and the #1 and 5 seed in the NFC.

I've been wondering that as well, I thought the entire NFL was substandard this year, all the games looked sloppy.

lets not forget the Pats also beat the Cowboys-48-27, Steelers-34-13,Chargers-38-14,Browns-34-13.Bengals-34-17,and Redskins-52-7 everyone except the Browns are in the play offs and they went 10-6 So I'd say they have proven themselves no matter what division their in

Uh...In case your mask has an oxygen flow problem, the Pats beat the Cowboys, Colts, Chargers, Eagles, Ravens, Redskins, and Steelers along the way... even though the Eagles and Ravens wound up having bad years...

They also played six teams that made the playoffs this year and five teams that finished 7-9 or better.

sure their division is terrible but it might not even be the worst division in nfl. nfc south sucks, afc west sucks, nfc west sucks. so i do agree with you that afc east sucks, but i disagree that it lessens their accomplishment. i mean every year divisions suck and that doesnt mean teams go 16-0. they still had to beat the vaunted cowboys in texas, they had to beat pay tons colts in indys dome. they beat the steelers who according to many on yahoo answers are greatest franchise since the invention of sports. so yes, it could have been much easier.

Ok... but at the same time the Pats beat the Chargers 38-14, the Cowboys 48-27, the defending world champion Colts 24-20, the Steelers 34-13 and the Giants 38-35. All these teams are playoff teams... teams considered to be some of the best... hence why they are in the playoffs. Oh and don't forget another playoff team the Redskins 52-7. Only reason you say it was easy is because they made what is so difficult to do look like it was easy... GO PATS!
