Tomorrow night. Monday night football. The Colts visit Jacksonville. The Jags always play the Colts tough and were able to run all over them when they met @ Jacksonville last year.

So, predict the score. Whoever picks the right winner and is closest to the final score will get BA.

Believe in Blue!

id like to see either USC vs LSU because these are 2 great teams that havent played each other recently. i also want to see ohio st. vs florida because they are also great teams, but osu would get killed even though they are undefeated so far (if osu played floridas schedule, they would NOT be undefeated)

Current coaches can be listed too, but I'm mainly wanting to know your thoughts on the greats from the past.

Thanks!

Lions look solid and Chicago is slumping, there doesn't seem to be any definitive winner in the division as of week 7. Give me your insight.....

Personally I think so and not just because i'm a Green Bay fan but because they match up well against the Cowboys. Now before the Dallas fans rip me, think about these facts:

1. Dallas does play the run well but almost all of their opponents have exploited their pass defense. We know Roy Williams and Ken Hamlin hate being in coverage, and all Green Bay does is pass the ball. Terrance Newman and Anthony Henry are a good tandem, but can they cover all of Green Bay's receivers, especially since Koren Robinson has returned?

2. Dallas looooves to blitz, and Green Bay is great at pass protecting. Although they struggled against Washington, injuries didnt help them. When the offensive line has been healthy, they neutralized both New York, San Diego, and Chicago's pass rush, only allowing 3 sacks in those games combined.

3. Dallas wants to run the football, Green Bay is great at stopping the run. Al Harris and Charles Woodson consistenly lock up and nearly shut down most teams WRs.

I think so. I mean look at it. They beat colorado in boulder. They havn't done that since 1995. They also havn't gone 7-0 since 1995 either. With some of the top players including Todd Reesing and Aqib Talib I think they have a great chance of winning the Big 12. What do you think?

Also do you think Kansas will go 8-0 against Texas A&M. I think so.

well the programs messed up
we finally got steve pederson fired, and got a new AD, tom osborne, but that don't change the football team much...
coach bill callahan is still the head coach
they're four and four (four losses and four wins)
what if they beat kansas on the road?
what if they kill kansas state at home?
what if they beat texas in their house this week?
will the tradition once again rise?
or will it be witthin the next twenty years that the nebraska team will ever have a chance of winning the national championship game??
what's gonna happen?
what do you think??

Some years a team will get 8 home games to 4, a lot of the time it's 7-5. I understand how the conferences and individual schools come up with how many they get to play, but I find it hard to give much credit to teams who get to play so many games with their home-field advantage. And why is NCAAF the only major sport league in America that doesn't have an equal schedule of home and away games for the teams (that I know of)?

With him being an offensive coordinator and having a cocky attitude since he left the Patriots to coach the Whiny Irish, and since Notre Dame has one of the worst offenses in all of football (I have to check the Pee Wee Panthers' numbers in the Piqua, Ohio, Pee Wee Football League -- 7-to-10-year-olds), don't you think it's time the Notre Dame brass and all those cussing priests up in that press box congregate so they can put together a "termination package" to go get someone who knows a little about recruiting and DOESN'T CRY LIKE A TEENAGER WHO JUST GOT HER CELL PHONE TAKEN AWAY FOR A WEEK WHEN HE LOSES A BLUE-CHIPPER STAR ATHLETE TO ANOTHER SCHOOL, and get rid of fatboy head coach Charlie Weis?

They can't seem to look past their conference and realise how weak they are overall against other BCS conferences. They scream how good the big 10 is yet the teams havent been able to back it up. They lose to Div 1 AA teams and the fans make excuses. They even point to last year when Wisconsin won a bowl game! They tend to forget that most the rest of the conference got slaughtered in their bowl games. The only big 10 teams to play tough nonconference games were Michigan and Illinois and they both lost their 1 tough nonconference game. The rest of the conference struggled to wins against teams like Citadel and Iowa lost to Big 12 punching bag Iowa state. Yet the fans still scream how tough they are and will huff and puff about this question.

I really don't like ESPN, mostly because the place is full of sportscasters that spend way to much time coming up with things like "Call me butter, cause I'm on a roll!". I hate that the coverage is always so impersonal, and they hate the SEC (I could be biased, but I'm an Auburn fan). They are still singing the praises of teams like USC and Michigan, and I don't even know how michigan managed to get ranked again.

I would much rather listen to a football game on the radio than watch it, and fortunately for me, I can get radio coverage for Auburn, Alabama and Georgia. I love to listen to larry Munson(only working part time after calling Georgia games for 30 or so years) and Eli Gould for Alabama because they are just EXCITED about Dawg and Tide (respectively) football. TV announcers just want to see a good game, but they don't care who wins.

Can't we do something to bring back the personal touch to TV announcing?
