Personally I think so and not just because i'm a Green Bay fan but because they match up well against the Cowboys. Now before the Dallas fans rip me, think about these facts:

1. Dallas does play the run well but almost all of their opponents have exploited their pass defense. We know Roy Williams and Ken Hamlin hate being in coverage, and all Green Bay does is pass the ball. Terrance Newman and Anthony Henry are a good tandem, but can they cover all of Green Bay's receivers, especially since Koren Robinson has returned?

2. Dallas looooves to blitz, and Green Bay is great at pass protecting. Although they struggled against Washington, injuries didnt help them. When the offensive line has been healthy, they neutralized both New York, San Diego, and Chicago's pass rush, only allowing 3 sacks in those games combined.

3. Dallas wants to run the football, Green Bay is great at stopping the run. Al Harris and Charles Woodson consistenly lock up and nearly shut down most teams WRs.

The Tight End has posted problems for Green Bay early in games, but Dallas has shown they don't get off to a very fast start in most games in the first half.

4. Romo has been good, but if you notice when you take away his first 2 reads, he struggles and tries to run out of the pocket and make something happen. Green Bay's defensive line has been very active this year at neutralizing mobile QBs and has gotten constant pressure by themselves.

I feel this will be a great game when they play in Week 13 and a very close one regardless of the outcome.

Thoughts?

For all the reason you stated is why the cowpies will beat GB into submission. If you can make a team one dimensional then you can beat them. Green Bay will start losing games, it's been a nice run and a nice story but it is over. Green Bay doesn't make the playoffs and finish on a losing streak. The first thing GB needs to do is hire a quality Head Coach.

Yes they can. Dallas should have lost to Buffalo too, if the Bills defense didn't have a brain freeze on the last 3 plays!
About one dimensional....SO WHAT!! No one has stopped them yet, plus they get Robinson back, and Dallas's d-back stink! The running game is slowly showing more promise, but why run just for the sake of running! A TD by throwing is worth the same as a TD by running.... I'm pretty sure of that!
Greenbays D will shut them down too, they have 8 lineman to rotate and keep fresh, and 2 great cover corners. Romo will show he is not a great QB.
PACK WINS THIS ONE

I think the packers do have a chance against the cowboys. Packers defense is pretty good, and if you look at Tony Romo, he hasn't done that good in recent games. If you actually watch the games, there are alot of times when there is an easy interception but the other team gets it. The packers offense is doing good, and I think they could pull out with a win.

yes and I'm not just saying that because I'm a fan.yes the packers are one dimensional but they have the passing game to make up for it.Green bay has a great defense to keep the cowboys from scoring to much. One of the reasons that packers have a poor running game is because they relie on mostly rookies in Jackson and Wynn.not all rookie running backs can adjust to the NFL as fast as Peterson.so with that said the packers running game has a great chance to improve.it will still be a close game because the cowboys are a good team.

It should be a close and competitive game. THe Cowboys should come to the game with a few missing players (t. glenn, tank, a.henry).

I think both defenses are equal and although the Cowboys appear to have a better offense I think Favre helps offset the Packers offense with his experience. The game will hinge on turnovers. Favre and Romo both have a tendancy to turn it so the game will likely favor the QB who doesn't make any mistakes or makes fewer than his counterpart.

Romo has admitted to being a HUGE Favre fan so hopefully he will not be too starstruck during the game.

u bring up some very good points n basically answered ur own question. but they werent all acurate. green bay aint so hot at pass blocking. there oline is really young and hasnt faced a blitz happy defence lik the cowboys yet. chicagos defence isnt good at all as weve seen with there performance against adrian peterson. new york got those sacks because donovan dropped back over 40 times. and sandiegos defence hasnt really show up yet. but green bays defence is looking pretty nasty as well. i say there top five in the nfl right now.

Tony ROM against Brett. Please.... Brett has the support of his team finally. They see that it's not just about Farve but the whole team has experienced the thrill of being a great comeback team. they are more confident about following through on catches n making the play. The cowgirls will always be the team everyone used to love. But the Packers and Farve are the team that everyone wants to beat. Cause when you loose to Greenbay you are the biggest looser!!!

Just a thought dip ****, the BCS polls have already been released, by the way I can not respond because you set it up that way. You call me a biased SEC fan, look man we try our hardest to get your "Cali" teams to come play us. Your conference is better than Ohio State's conference though, I have to give you that. I think a playoff system should be involved, football games are won on the field, not on the computer, sorry.

In Green Bay: yes, GB has always annihilated Dallas in GB.

In Dallas: no, Dallas has always defeated GB in Dallas.

so, it depends upon where its played.
