i searched on radio times website and it only had an hour long highlight show on ITV, will they show the full game? they showed the NBA london game on Five US.

Yes ... satellite subscription service Sky Sports 2 will be showing live coverage of the game as part of their regular coverage of the NFL.

The free-to-air public service BBC2 will also screen a 50 minute highlight show at 2300 hrs later that evening.

The BBC have also signed rights to show the Super Bowl for the next two years live which is a massive boost.

BBC, being a free to air service to the mass UK population, is critical to mainstream exposure for the sport hence I guess why the NFL has decided that.

(BTW Five US also shows one hour NFL coverage on Tues evenings at 1900)

NFL has suffered from lack of exposure in the UK since it left peak time terrestrial TV in the early 1990s. Although audiences had started to fall, hence the decision to pull it, that move finally killed it off.

I don't know, but I couldn't imagine why it wouldn't. The NFL is trying to push the NFL on the Brits, and the NFL was tweaked and designed to be a TV sport. It'd be a waste of time if they didn't.

no they arent showing it i dont know about sky sports but i defo know that the bbc havent got it which is a shame maybe the bbc should have their own american sports channel

I don't know.... When i went to london.... they only had 3 channels and they all had little kids shows..... i don't know?...

I am sure they will broadcast this the NFL wants exposure.
