6-6 at best, but a real possibility of 4-8. I don't see the tradition arising again under Callahan.

I think it's very possible that they only win one -maybe two more games this year. They'll lose to KU, UT, and probably KSU. They have a shot against CU. NU should fire Bill Callahan at the end of the season. This team has given up. Maybe they don't have the talent of OU, LSU, or USC but it is Neb and they have some talent on this team. Too much to give up 40 pts a game the last few games w/ a very close call against Ball state( I think that's who it was), and yes I know it's not exactly 40 pts/ game the last few but close enough. I think it's going to be a while before Neb rises again to the ranks of where they were about 5-6 years ago. NO win this season will help- even if they beat UT in Auston - which they won't.

First off, I went to Texas Tech.
Honestly, I always thought Callahan was a horrible hire. He is the cause of most of your problems.
Also, as bad as they've played the last month or so, I wouldn't be surprised if they don't win another game. Take out USC, and the first part of their schedule was a lot easier than the rest will be. No Nevada or Ball State from here on out.
As far as getting better players, recruiting has actually been pretty respectably the last 4 years. True, it hasn't been elite, but it's been better than what this team is doing on the field. It just comes down to bad coaching.
Regaining championship contender status? I hate to tell you, but it could be a long way off. Nebraska doesn't have the built-in recruiting advantage of USC, Miami, or Florida. It also doesn't have the local talent pool of Ohio St. and Texas. What it had was tradition, and Callahan has burnt that to the ground.

First we need to get rid of Callahan. Then get a coach like Pelini and give him a couple years to get better players. As far as the rest of this season is concerned, I don't think we'll win another game. The Huskers will go 4-8, their worst record since 1961. From 1962 to 2003, the Huskers never had a losing season, although they did go 7-7 in 2002. In Callahan's 4 years, they will have 2 losing seasons. Billy C must go.

They will probably end up with a losing season. As far as Callahan he is toast. Color him 'Gone' at the end of the season. Osborne will bring in a coach to return to classic Nebraska football which also includes restoring the full walk-on program and respecting the players of yesteryear.
I give Nebraska three years and then you will see them start to climb up the rankings.

Pats. MmmeBarr are you serious?? The colts are the cheaters now. If you read the yahoo news thing. Their cheating with their defense. Intentionally create a big noise and "skipping" which is clearly stated against the NFL's rules. So don't you ever say that. Colts have been caugh cheating too.
