I mean just do it right now and distance your team from this guy as much as possible. The bad publicity is just not worth it. Take the loss and plan for drafting a future QB.

Clearly Roger Goodell is trying to promote a positive image for the NFL. But has he gone too far? Michael Vick hasn't been convicted of any crime yet. He doesn't have an exceptionally long history of past offenses. (There are some things in his past, but not a ton.) Why is he not being allowed to prepare for the upcoming season? If the charges get thrown out, the commissioner can't give him back those valuable days of practice. What is there to be gained from suspending him now?

My wife and I are throwing a dinner party two friday nights from now. We live in Nashville. My friend, Ben Troup (Titans player), says I should invite Pacman. I don't feel comfortable having him in our Brentwood home but maybe I'm judgemental.

Both Jason Cole and Charles Robinson gave their top 10 NFL teams going into the pre-season. And guess who's at the number one spot? Nope not the Patriots! Nope not the Colts! Nope not the Bears and nope not the Saints! It's non other than my SAN DIEGO CHARGERS! I couldn't agree more and can back it up on a variety of levels! Or are you going to argue with EXPERTS like Jason Cole and Charles Robinson? he he he! (I love how Jason Cole says the Raiders are so bad that they are in a class all their own!) http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=At6lrkULOjX8PENSrKHqcVtDubYF?slug=ys-rankings072307&prov=yhoo&type=lgns

Before you yell at me, I'm taking a neutral position. I just want your opinion on the matter. Should laws put people in prison for animal cruelty? Consider the cases where other people's dogs attack a stranger, possibly a fatal attack, and they serve time for their dogs actions. Give me some feedback on what you think.

People tend to care more about animals than people. I understand that animals shouldn't be hurt, but if it was a man being beaten would people have come to the recsue for him and step in and have as much to say about. I DON'T THINK SO!

Also do you the Falcons have any choice other than to let Joey Harrington take over the #1QB, considering the limited amount of Cap room the have, is Joey the best they can get?

I'm curious about something. Mike Vick's career is being threatened because he tortured some dogs. Now before I begin, I don't want anyone to misunderstand me for one second and think that I am implying that what he did (if he did it) is okay, but don't people do worse things to animals. For starters, people hunt solely for the sport of hunting. Isn't that killing a living thing for sport? Then on a national level hundreds of animals are euthnized daily because they are "taking up too much space" or for "stray population control". So effectively, if animals can be killed for fun and be killed just to make more room for ourselves, assuming that Vick is guilty as charged, what is the difference between him killing dogs and your local animal shelter killing "unclaimed" healthy non-threatening animals and your uncle hunting. I have a problem with this. If he did it, it is disguisting and sick, but don't we (general population) do the same sh*t? Tell me what you guys think.

Improved O-line is gonna give JP more time to hit the open man. The TEs might even catch a few this year. And, the new backs bring more versatility than years past. I'm betting they'll average 10+ pts more per game. What say the rest of y'all?

I'll tell you. The big deal is because authorities found evidence of dog fighting and evidence on how they were killed on Vicks property. To think that he did not participate or even not know this was going on is naive on the part of people who just cannot come to grips to the reality that Vick is probably involved in some capacity. No, he has not been proven guilty of his involvment. But i am willing to bet, that he has supported this with his own money. People try sadly enough to beat around the questions that evidently seem to point to Vick as being just as involved as the rest of them. Just because he is a wealthy football star, does not mean he gets preferential treatment, and if he is found guilty, i hope and pray that he gets what he deserves. I am very worried that he will get less than what some one else might get in terms of punishment, becuase of his stature. I'm hoping that sports leauges keep cracking down on stars, and while rich, still treating them the same as anyone!
