I'll tell you. The big deal is because authorities found evidence of dog fighting and evidence on how they were killed on Vicks property. To think that he did not participate or even not know this was going on is naive on the part of people who just cannot come to grips to the reality that Vick is probably involved in some capacity. No, he has not been proven guilty of his involvment. But i am willing to bet, that he has supported this with his own money. People try sadly enough to beat around the questions that evidently seem to point to Vick as being just as involved as the rest of them. Just because he is a wealthy football star, does not mean he gets preferential treatment, and if he is found guilty, i hope and pray that he gets what he deserves. I am very worried that he will get less than what some one else might get in terms of punishment, becuase of his stature. I'm hoping that sports leauges keep cracking down on stars, and while rich, still treating them the same as anyone!

He should be banned from all pro sports for the rest of his life. He should have to donate a good share of money to the Humane Societies, Animal Aid & Rescue, etc.
For punishment he should be tortured in the same manner he tortured those innocent dogs. Soak him down & poke him with an electrical cord. His behavior is so unforgiving that it makes me cry. HOW any human can do what he, his family & friends did is so wrong. All of them have to be punished along with him.
I cannot believe the football people will allow him to continue to play football. How many people want their children to condone what this criminal has done??? He is lucky he doesn't have to deal with me.............
Anyone that does what he did is not normal mentally. He comes from a bad gene pool. How many other people in the U.S. are involved in this kind of thing? Many more than we know about, I am sure...............There isn't any reason for these dogs to suffer............

Unfortunately, for all you prima donnas out there that think there is a class structure that prevents the law from reaching the most affluent and well known, the truth is:
If you are in a position of public trust or high visibility, your resposibilities are greater than the average person.
Many pro athletes (and other public positions) fail to grasp this until they get kicked in the head with a big no-no, like this felony indictment response from the drug residue and dead dogs on the property "Bad Newz" Vick owns.
Whenever you get millions of dollars for your celebrity status, you OWE THE PUBLIC to be professional and just about your behavior. That is the price of fame and public trust.

This "scandal" and how Vick is getting treated by the media and PETA is making me sick. In this country, people are innocent until proven guilty. Maybe I should call the authorities and claim that you beat your wife, and get The Advocates to protest at your work and smear your name all over the news. Good Idea?
Let it be known that I am not supportive of cruelty to animals, or dog fighting. I am supportive of American rights and innocence until being proved giulty in a court of law.

Couldnt have said it better myself. I have no doubt that he is guilty. He has been known to be attached to this for about 6 yrs now. He should go to jail... get wat he deserves, not get paid while he ROTS in jail... his endorsement deals should be nixed... and community service at the animal shelter, bathing dogs and cleaning out thier pens. He had become rich because of football and he took that as a leverage to fun his dog fighting ring.... he should be stripped of his wealth because he does not deserve none of it. He is a Ghetto THUG... and his family is not far away... look at marcus Vick and AAron Brooks. No talent QBs.... Vick is a running back who can CHUNK the hell outta the football... other than that he is nothing special

I can not believe some of the answers I am reading. Some people want him to rot in jail for life, be hanged etc. He was involved in dogfighting! What about all the rapists and murderers and child molestors out there. They serve small sentences for such horrible crimes and people don't seem to care. Vick fights and kills dogs and everyone gets in an uproar. They are animals not people; we should care about crimes against people. PETA and these animal rights groups need to grow up and start focusing on issues that matter.

Vick SHOULD be punished to the full extend of the law. But, we all know he will get it easy pay a fine and maybe just maybe serve a couple of days in a cell. Vick is a sick bastard.

People say that since Mike Vick didn't live there, he is innocent. His cousin lived there. But this supposedly went on for 6 years so don't say you don't know. I think he knew it was going on but did,t actually breed them to fight. None the less, that's not any better.

Mike Wallace does not have an official Facebook page, so that was not him. Trust me, I am a Steelers fan with FB, so I know for sure.
