no it is not funny, and it is not just because morals in this country have weakend but also because the media now plays a bigger role in our lives. Today you can't get away with what you could back then. And sports is a billion dollar industry,in which the players make millions, whoever that is right or wrong is not the point, at lease not for now. The point with all that money and positive publicity that the players get, there is bond to be some bad ones.
And I would like the remind everyone not to judge the entire sporting industry because of the actions of the few.
One is for sure, all four major sport's organizations ( yes I a am including Hockey, because it was once a major sport) are in big trouble. At lease for the next year or so. They need to do some major clean up.

Great point. I think morals in this country have just gone by the wayside. Boggles my mind how someone with talent and money can not walk the straight and narrow and realize how damn good they have it and just be grateful and gosh, maybe give back a little?

Hmmm...I haven't heard of Byron Leftwich getting into trouble. Tony Romo, Drew Brees and so on. Don't let one bad apple represent the group.
Yep...you made me add to my answer. How much child abuse went unreported back then. I guess Bob Crane is someone that you just love. Our morals might be set above our past generations. At least we aren't afraid to report someone doing wrong.

How do you know that?
Were you in their homes and bedrooms every day and night?
We forget that some of our wrongs are done behind closed doors.
Evaluate ourselves and remove the plank from our own eyes so that we can see clearly to remove the speck from our brother's/sister's eye.
May the grace of God be upon His people......

Didn't have to be, they got paid as much as the guy next door. They didn't lose touch of reality and who they were.
