Improved O-line is gonna give JP more time to hit the open man. The TEs might even catch a few this year. And, the new backs bring more versatility than years past. I'm betting they'll average 10+ pts more per game. What say the rest of y'all?

I purposely stayed away from the D issue because there are SOME question marks out there. But net net, I see a lot of it as a wash. We lost experience at LB, but we gained some much needed vitality there, as well. Takeo is another year/injury closer to retirement and London (one of the smartest to play the position) is really pushing the envelope. The return of McCargo has got to be a plus, and how can you not like Kelsay and Schobel? It remains to be seen if Darwin Walker will be here at all. I'll miss Clements, but Buffalo's secondary usually finds a way.

A-Train's main job is going to be as a mentor. I'm just as jazzed about D-Wright as I am about Lynch. Lynch is definitely greased lightning, while Wright can thunder up the middle.

And the new kid, Wendling. I can see him being an absolute terror on Special Teams.

Despite our tough schedule I think the Bills are going to surprise a lot of people this year.

They'll believe it when they see it...and even then, it'll take 'em a while. But they'll see it! Let's go Buffalo!!!

I think 10 points a game might be shooting a little high. They have improved their offensive side of the ball, but if the defense can't stop the run (they sure couldn't last year) that offense won't have the ball enough to up that average scoring another 10 points. Basically the offensive improvement is going to key off of any defensive improvement. If they're having to pass the ball a lot to stay in games because the other team is eating up the clock with the ground game, pass rushers are going to put their ears back and go after Losman hard. That could force a lot of mistakes form the QB position and keep Lynch from getting the number of carries he'll need to be truly effective.

Uncle dodge, how do you figure they had the worst special teams? They have had the number 1 unit for 3 of the past 4 years and finished ranked 3rd last year ... so educate your own self.

Nonetheless, I am not as optimistic as you. I am a fan, JP is playing well and their passing game looks tighter this year ... but they have an unproven rookie and an aging journeyman at RB. I'll agree it remains to be seen how they patched up the holes on defense replacing Clements and Spikes especially.

Go Bills!

If you talk uneducated, you sound uneducated.

The educated Bills fans I am acquainted with have a more tempered expectation since JP Losman isn't a Top Ten quarterback yet. The rushing game will be improved as long as Marshawn Lynch doesn't display his affinity for injury this year.

And the defense lost some key cogs this offseason, with question marks at linebacker (starting a rookie in the middle) and corner (who will replace Clements?) suggesting a drop in pass defense.

In short, the Bills' special teams and offensive line have gone from worst to first. Now, to contend, the passing game and cover game must match this progress.

Another 10+ points a game? Might be stretching it but it's definitely possible. I think the offense is going to outshine the defense this year with our O-line improvements as well as JP's growth with the system.
Regarding Marshawn and the uneducated comments made about him...he's a character guy...not a troublemaker...or else Marv wouldn't have selected him..and he's shown more class and character since we drafted him than Mcgahee did in his entire tenure here. Regarding injuries....you're thinking of Adrian Peteron...Marshawn doesn't have injury problems (knock wood...for the future)

Da Bills yo? I just got off the phone with 1987's ghetto community. I believe they are protesting about copyright infringement.

I don't think that they will average close to 30 points per game at all.

jp will get the **** smacked out of him everytime he drops back, and Marshawn lynch is going to get into some off-field trouble because thats all he is, trouble.
