I knew it but my mind won’t let me remember clearly.
Many years ago, there was a game played between college guys and pro guys.
A guy name Gene mentioned it in his answer to this question: Who would win in a game between the worst NFL Team against the National Championchip College Team?
In my mind, I remembered it as college seniors against the pro players.
I couldn’t remember if it was one of the teams or a pro bowl team.
Any other older guys remember this game and hopefully more accurately than I?

We have the UFL with Mark Cuban as a potential owner...and we have the AAFL trying to bring a college atmosphere to a professional game.

Considering the past disasters of the XFL and USFL...the failed US attempts by the CFL and, what is now, NFL Europa...no league has been able to compete with the NFL since the AFL.

What are your thoughts on the potential, if any, for the two new leagues?

You knew this question was coming, especially since Harrison has a ring now. Before you jump the gun and say Rice, take a look at Harrison's career stats (not that I'm a Harrison fan). If I'm not mistaken, he may be on a pace to break Rice's records if he plays long enough (and he isn't showing any signs of slowing down or getting injured). These are two of the most talented, team-oriented, humble, yet confident players I have witnessed in the NFL. They both are tops, but who would you choose in his prime?

I know the Titans have not picked up anyone just spectacular but they have picked up average guys to fill the requirements for the job and they will have competition to improve their positions (guys like Reynaldo Hill, Antwan Odom, Brandon Jones, Ben Troupe, and Lamont Thompson). We all know VY is a winner and that is the main reason I am asking this question.

Do you think the Denver Broncos should have made the playoffs instead of the Kansas City Chefs? Not that I didn't enjoy Peyton Manning getting his a** picked off twice by Ty Law (a former Patriot), I just thought that Jay Cutler and the Denver Broncos would have put up a much better fight. The Kansas City Chiefs coaching staff totally screwed up. They should have started backup quarterback Damon Huard (98.0 rating) and not the injured Trent Green (74.1 rating). Since the Chiefs didn't do this, they should have just forfeited their seat to the Broncos. We all know that Manning is just a LUCKY DUCK, not having to face the superior quarterback.

I think it will be LSU vs. Ohio State. there I said it.

just kidding. I do think LSU will win it all though. that defense is awesome, and they could have beat anybody last year, including Florida (does anyone really believe Florida was really better than OSU last year, come on now!!!!!!!) And LSU was pretty good all the way around but sometimes Jamarcus got in the way, if the offense played the way it did vs. ND vs everybody they would have played OSU.

i am seeing alot of bandwagon fans the last few years in SD you know the type---brand new jersey, brand new hat, taking pics of the stadium and parking lot, etc. and other diehard fans i know are bothered by this but not me as long as they cheer for the bolts i dont care how long they have been fans---why would you hate someone in the same colors who is spending money that your team can use to improve itself---maybe i am wrong about this i hear alot of complaints about bandwagoneers what do u think?

He wasn't even the top QB drafted this year.
In fact, as we all know, he plummeted.
Many draft pundits had him going into the SECOND round!
Also, word is that his mini camps aren't going that great either.

Is it because he went to Notre Dame and he's supposed to be the 'Golden Boy'?
