Raise your time? So you wanna run a slower 40? Umm, get fat and sit on your couch and eat a bunch of Cookies or something.... I'm sure you meant Lower your time, but since you didn't realize it, i'm gonna answer your question like you wanna get FAT and be slower. Hell JOG the 40 that will raise your time.

Its all about the start
You will need to develop your technique coming out of the starting blocks. You should watch the NFL scouting combine or a track meet. You will need to lean forward a little bit once you get going too. I think the technique is similar to a defensive lineman when the ball is snapped and a rip/uppercut technique is used.

The best way to raise your time is to eat ALOT and sit on your ***, then try to run in a couple of months..

Devepling greater flexibility and strength. Also buying a rabid spotted leopard and keeping him in your yard between the house and the shed.

The best thing you can do is work out your legs, and work on your form. Run as much as you can and do lots of leg excercises like squats and leg presses.

There is a couple of things you can do lift weights, work on start off, but what i suggest is run with bungee's it will help alot.
