I live in Jacksonville (but am a Steelers fan)

The radio stations are all buzzing about this topic. I think they are going to try to make a move on Culpepper. However his contract is going to make it impossible to trade for him. Culpepper will most likely get cut then get signed for a veteran's minimum contract by someone. That opens the doors for the rest of the teams in the NFL to make a bid. I don't think its a done deal by any means but there is a ton of talk about it here in the J

Didn't realize the Jags were in such desperate need of a QB. Signing Culpepper is a desperation move, the guy is done, his best skill (his mobility) is gone. I do not see any improvement over Leftwich or Garrard in picking up Culpepper.

Yep, the Dolphins will trade Culpepper to the Jags. Culpeppper will be the backup there. So Jags fans happy birthday you get Culpepper!

He could fight for the starting QB job with Byron Leftwich and David Garrard. If Culpepper wins the starting QB job, the Jags could have a shot at the AFC South Title!

that is what Espn is reporting. The reason why is because Mike Tice just went down there as the offensive Coordinator.

thats fine release leftwich so my Bears can pick him up. We will keep him standing upright just long enough to get us back to the superbowl.

I heard Culpeper just hurt his non-throwing hand last night in a car accident. Best of luck to the jags and Dante if they get him.

That could be a good fit.

Then they would have 3 Quarterbacks who the coach can be unconvinced about.

I doubt it only because they have Leftwich and Garrard.
