Does anyone know what number Randy Moss will wear this year for the Patriots?

He is going to be buying #84 from Ben Watson. They're just trying to work out a price rightnow and Moss is wearing 6 for the time being.

in minnesota he wore #84 in chokeland he wore #18 when he showed up at the patriots facility the equipment manager didnt have any jerseys numbers in the 80's left so he said "i dont care what number it is just give me a jersey" so he has been wearing the #6 but he could always change it before the season starts maybe he will buy the #84 from benjamen watson?

Yeah, he is wearing #6 right now in camp...I don't think he can wear that number during the season so he's likely going to have to pick something 10-19, 80-89 just like everyone else.

He is wearing 6 but obviously he cant wear that during the regular season, it not a wide receiver number. I think he is waiting to see who gets cut and what numbers are available before he takes a number. I dont think he really cares what number he wears. He is not one of those guys that have to have a certain number.

He is wearing number 6 in the minicamps, but if you look at a roster the number is blank.

Does it matter? I think that by him taking a paycut,it show's that he's just ready to play some good football.Just give him a number and he'll make it great.

It is num. 6. in training camp and he might change it. In Minnesota it was 84 and in Oakland it was 18.
