I haven't gotten that impression. I think he's pretty stupid. He seems like an alright person, but his judgement isn't that sound.

He should've known that you don't ride motorcycles when you're a pro athlete...didn't I hear that he wasn't wearing a helmet too?

If he were any other player, he would've had his contract voided. He's lucky.

Ben was scheduled to shoot the new Campbell Soup commercial before his accident. Max Starks is bigger than life as Right Tackle (6'8" and 337lbs) and he is a role model, humanitarian and excellent spokesperson for the Steelers and the NFL as demonstrated on his 12 day tour with the Fourty USO/NFL tour to war toen middle east after a SuperBowl win. Max Starks is hot and a marketers dream. I think that Campbell Soup will get it right.

Ben was the best thing that ever happened to the Steelers, and now half his fans are calling him a stupid selfish idiot because he wasn't wearing his helmet. Ben was acting 100% within the law, and driving on city roads (probably less than 40 mph). I mean I can't really blame him not not wearing a helmet under those circumstances! Everyone who is mad at him needs to realize THEY aren't perfect either! Yinz are pissin me off!!! The only thing we should be worrying about is that Ben gets better so he can go on living a long happy life.
GO STEELERS!!!!!!!!!!!!
