Depends on the severity of the facial injuries. He will be advised to avoid getting hit for anywhere from 3 to 6 months depending on how his bones were broken in his face.

No, little ben will not be able to start the season....with the fracture to the jaw, that a couple months right there....not even counting when he gets out of the hospital. My prediction is Ben will not even play this year. Maybe if he recoups fast...the end of the season.

Yeah Ben is a tough guy and I wouldn't expect anything less from a Pittsburgh Steeler though he will be a little sore and rusty. Hope he plans to stay off the bike for a while.

Yes...the most serious injury was a fractured jaw which will take 6-8 weeks to heal and it will heal stronger than before...with that timetable he should be ready for opening day...plus the steelers would rather not have to start charlie batch

Yes, Rothlisberger will start the 06-07 season. Acoording to yahoo, com, four doctors operated on Roethlisberger for multiple facial fractures and that "all of the fractures were successfully repaired."

Yes... but I don't think he will be as sharp because he will miss some time in camp because of his injuries.
