My Ohio State Buckeyes have a great shot to be 1# next year. Ted Ginn and Troy Smith will be Heisman frontrunners.

All of the experts are out there tossing out Preseason Polls. Some are picking Ohio State, others Notre Dame, still others are picking Oklahoma. I recommend checking out the Stassen website, in which all of the major College Preview Magazines (Street and Smith, Lindy's, Athlon, Phil Steele, Sporting News, etc.) are averaged together to come up with a consensus Top 25. The Stassen website also weighs each magazine's preseason predictions with the actual finish at the end of each year to determine which preseason mag is "Most Accurate". I use this info throughout the year when discussing College Football with friends and family. I don't work for Stassen (and I don't know who does), I just like the info presented.
As for my personal opinion, I think Auburn is the preseason #1---too many offensive weapons and a favorable schedule).

I'm not sure but UConn will have an outstanding program next year. Their future credentials include:
-The return of their real QB who was out with a collarbone fracture
-A returning #1 in the nation defense including every single guy from the secondary and all but one of the DF line guys
-A revamped coaching staff
-Depth on offense and special teams
They'll probably go to a bowl game like in 2004 but even if it's the Motor City Bowl again it'll be good for them.

Ohio State will win too much talent on offense fav. schedule. Texas overated after losing young and the big ten outside of ohio state is a mess this year. the only other team is wva with a schedule of powder puff opponents they will take the championship away from an unbeaten team from the mac or wac

If you want to go by most talent, then most definitely Ohio State, but if you want easiest way back to the BCS championship, look no farther than USC, they only have 2 hard games on their schedule, Notre Dame and Cal. Ohio State has no chance of going undefeated with that kind of schedule.

Arkansas!Great recruting class with one of the top rated QB's in the country coming in, not to mention he will be able to throw to his H.S. teammates while running the same "O" b/c he will be coached by his former H S coach. PLUS Darren McFadden and Felix Jones coming back for there soph seasons after steller fresh years. You laugh, but these young hogs WILL turn some heads!
