I don't hate them. One can really only hate the Minnesota Vikings, Chicago Bears or Dallas Cowboys. But maybe it is because they traded for Randy Moss. Or maybe because they always seem to get a lot of penalties.

Just Win Baby, Committment to Excellence and the fact that the Oakland/Los Angeles Raiduhs are run by the Villian from Broolyn , Al Davis. He's a guy you love to hate and the Raiders have historically signed a bunch of misfits and older veterans and blended that talent with younger players. They are the "bad boys" of the NFL, always have and always will be. They do have the 2nd best record in the NFL since 1960 so I guess they have been successful. 3 Superbowls and long overdue for the 4th.

This are the reasons I know if::

*Statistics show 1 of 4 raider fans have a criminal record.

*Have you seen some of the riots thrown over lost games?

*Minorities seem to be the majority of the fans

*They havent done too good lately and they waited 19 years to lose a superbowl

I am neither for or against the Raiders. I live in the Bay Area. So thats why all the honesty(gotten from previous sources)

Where did you just come from? Some disco ball dance hall where you someone spilled wine on your white suit? Everyone loves the Oakland Raiders and Al--Just Win Baby--Davis.

Hatred of the Raiders went out in the 80's. But, hey, cute disco shoes.....

Basically..because they are scared of us(the fans). The Raiders are known for being a hard nosed team. And to everyone who said they suck...who has the 2nd best record in the history of the NFL? Oh yea...Da RAIDAZ...Who helped make the NFL? Oh yea...Al Davis the owner of the Raiders. You are all just jealous we get the good talent...just because we are rebuilding doesn't mean we suck...now the Texans, they suck. The niners, they suck too. But the Raiders are a good football team and are coming back this year. Go Raiders. F*** all u Raider Haters who are just scared of the silver and black.

The Raiders played up the "Misfit and Reject" image big-time in the 1970's and early 1980's, but the team has lost much of the mystique that surrounded it. The Raiders used to intimidate people and won many games before they ever stepped onto the field; today they're just another team and a bad one at that.

The big first reason would be their owner - Al Davis. And second they generally are considered a dirty team. Look at the statistics for the most penalties each year in the NFL and you will see Oakland near the top since the beginning.

Umm do you really have to ask? Do you not watch Football? Have you never heard of Al Davis long running fued with the whole NFL? I think it is because he has nothing better to do but not really sure what it is about. A few of the cases are just plain rivialries. Including the one with the Steelers, although that was mostly from the 70's and I think into the early 80's. It just never really died because of how bad it was. Then you have Madden who's players are openly saying to this day that he told them if you aren't cheating you aren't trying hard enough.

Al Davis has always tried to chose good players who were known to be trouble with other teams. Thus the Raider name became synonymous with an outcast or troublemaker. And the players in turn, try to live up to that image also.

Because the owner Al Davis continually screws over his fans by moving from one town to the next and then suing the city and surrounding cities he moves the team to.

That's why I'm a Rams fan.

Actually, they used to always lead the league in penalties. People think they are cheaters. Almost as bad as the Patriots.
