It is a keeper league, 12 categories. 6 offense 6 Defense. I am currently in 1st place, loaded offensively. My offensive studs are D. Ortiz, Kent(when healthy), Abreu, Renteria, V. Wells, Dye, P. Fielder.

My pitchers are Bonderman, Webb, Rogers(who got shelled last night), Lackey, King Felix, Robertson and Prior.

The guy that proposed this trade is in serious need of a pitcher, so he offered me Jason Bay for J. Dye and John Lackey. 3 weeks ago I probably would have done it in a heart beat, but Lackey is on fire as of late and Dye and Bay's numbers are almost identical. Plus I have keepers and probably wouldn't keep Bay. For some reason I like V. Wells and Big Papi. Should I accept this trade? Should I keep Bay and Big Papi? I tried to give him Robertson or Rogers instead of Lackey but he wants Lackey bad.

I would like to invite you to join my ELIMINATION pick’em league.
It’s a pick’em league with no spread but has confidence points and eliminations.
Every week the lowest scoring picksets (season to date) will be eliminated from the league.
At the same time the highest scoring team of the week will receive immunity from elimination for that week and the upcoming week.

As mentioned all you have to do is pick the winner straight up.
No spread, no line.

However to make the game exciting there are confidence points.
All you have to do is assign a ranking 1-16 (or 1-14 on BYE weeks) for all of the games played that week.
Hopefully it makes sense.

Is it common to wait until draft day (which is one week before the season opener) to select the draft order.

Or do most leagues choose that ahead of time so people can start planning and mock drafting?

We have draft day on Labor Day weekend and they just selected the random order. Is that fair?

My hitting sucks, but I really like my pitching, so I was thinking of choosing all 4 keepers from my rotation.
