Does Orlando Cabrera qualify for 2B? I don't have him on any of my fantasy teams so I wouldn't know. You might be able to get Robinson Cano off waivers. I see him out there in a lot of leagues ever since he went on the DL. He'll be back soon though.

For 3B, you might want to give Casey Blake and Jose Valentin a shot or even Shea Hillenbrand. You might even find Joe Crede out there.

Your pitching staff is good, not great. If Tomo Ohka or Orlando Hernandez are still out there, try to get them and dump Borowski, who won't get you enough saves to make up for his high ERA and WHIP.

Your OF is awful. Ichiro is a slap hitter, if he remains consistent.

Trying to fetch a good outfielder, you will lose a valuable player in the process but you will need to balance it out somewhere.
Cuddyer isn't playing 3b all the time, Chavez or Holliday you can chance in a trade to pick up a top tier outfielder.
Look to see who's on the trading blocks (just in case someone changing leagues) and keep options open.

Ortiz, Uggla, Ichiro, Willis, Capuano, Colon and Wickman (maybe Putz, too) keep these off the table. see what else flies. Look for players who may be struggling now but are second half players. Wait for the Astros to open up a little bit (check up Chris Burke if no ones grabbed him).

Uggla is bad, and Cuddyer has cooled down. I would trade to get something in those areas. Especially at 2B. Your SP is also below average. Lilly is on and off, Lester is young, Colon isn't his old self, either is Dontrelle. You've got depth at the RP spot. You may have to trade from there.

How many teams are in this league?

Ortiz usually does a little worse after the trade deadline. You should try a trade Ortiz and a weak spot for Ryan Howard and an improvement on that weak spot. Another hint. Johan Santana is guaranteed lights out best pitcher in the world after the all-star break. Good job picking up Lester. I got him in my league.

i'd try to move colon, lester.lilly or padilla, get a better 3B. definitely put in cabrera over lopez. your of is decent. ichiro, holliday and hawpe all have pretty good #s. i would try to get another RP, grab a guy like Zumaya from the Tigers for help with whip and era. or even fausta carmona as a closer from the indians.

dude,

First of all drop your starting pitchers and pick up some RP. They will lower your WHIP and ERA. You may not win SO, but you can't get hurt if you have ALL RP and NEVER start SP (esp with what you have at SP).

Second, drop Uggla he's COLD. Stick Orlando Cabrera in there at 2B and get Giambi out of your UTIL spot unitl he starts to hit again (.220 last month).

Let me know what you think...

Try and dump Lester on some unsuspecting fool. With his lack of control, Lester is a disaster waiting to happen. Take a look at his last start. Ouch.

Trade him while he still has some value.
