If you already have young stud Ryan Zimmerman, than you would have to be a moron to make this trade. Out of the players that you would be getting, the only player worth mentioning is Rolen, and he can't get any better from what he is doing right now. Rolen is injury prone and he tends to do worse in the second half. Honestly, Rolen is not that much of an upgrade over Zimmerman.

On the other hand, the schmuck you would be trading with would get 3 solid young players in Lugo, Weeks and Winn. Lugo is a team leader with speed, Weeks is an up and coming player and Winn scores a ton of runs. You would be getting a no-namer (Gomez) and a player whose best days are behind him (Huff). Huff has had solid years in the past, but he will never reach those spectacular numbers again.

Please do not make this trade.

However, if you are willing to trade Lugo and Weeks to get Vernon Wells, than I will give you the green light. Wells is a great talent, and it would be awful if you missed out on him just because you weren't willing to give up two unspectacular players. Wells combines a high average with a lot of Home Runs, RBIs, Runs with modest speed. If you can pull this off, than do it.

Good luck to your fantasy team.

Rolen is injury prone. Huff could do good in Houston. Gomes is just terrible. But then, Lugo, Weeks and Winn are just as bad. So why not say yes. You have more potential and a junk player to drop. If ur wavier wire has Zimmerman, Atkins, or Cuddyler, pick one of those guys up.

I'm not too crazy about keeping rookies on the roster late in the season. Weeks can hit but who knows how his defensive weakness might play out. If the Brewers are in contention, they might not want Weeks to cost them games with his defense and sit him down or even send him down to the minors.

Lugo gives you stolen bases with good average but that's about it.

Winn can hit but not for much power.

I'd definitely get rid of those three to get Rolen and Huff. Gomez is basically power and no average fantasy bench player. He and Winn would be a wash. I'm not too concerned about Rolen's shoulder.

Lugo and Weeks for Vernon Wells? I'd do it but would the other GM accept it?

DO IT!!!

If you mean Johnny Gomes from TB and need power... there ya go. Huff is gonna be good in the small ballpark of Houston and Rolen can be put at Util or bench Zimmerman, Nationals actually have gotten a good hitting lineup somehow now and after a bit they'll start to click. Go for it if Gomes is the OF.

Wait to see if Lugo gets traded to Toronto. he will have more value as a Blue Jay since they score so many runs. Rolen is better than Zimmerman.

depends on what you need. Rolen is one swing away from dislocating another shoulder and being out for the rest of the year.
