depends on who else is on your roster and what needs you have. it isn't a bad trade if you need all three positions.

I don't really think so; Beltran has always hit better in the second half of the season. Clemens would be great, but he doesn't get much run support. The Astros are 15th of 16 teams in runs scored in the NL, ahead of only the cubs. They are also 26th in all of baseball in the same category, ahead of the D-Rays, Royals, A's, and Cubs. Not too good of company to be in the same category as :-). Ivan Rodriguez's first half was not really good enough to get him into the allstar game in the first place, but even at that, his first half was most likely a fluke. Weeks is having a good season, but his average has dropped .039 since late May and has hit ~.240 since then as well. Couple that with the fact that you will have to drop a few other players afterwards, and its really not worth giving up Beltran, who is surrounded by a potent lineup in the Big Apple. Hope that helps.

No. A 3-for-1 trade is useless when you need to drop 2 players after the trade. Keep Beltran.

What side of the trade are you on? I would make this trade to get Beltran. You are picking up a stud in Beltran and giving up nothing that you can't replace by free agency.

If you are the one currently with Beltran, do not make the trade!

no .. I imagine you already have a cathcer .. I-Rod is no better than a lot of cathcers(fantasys wise) .. Weeks is a all around player .. but he's not dominate at anything .. doesnt hit for the best average, but around .280 a lil pop . and sum stolen bases here and there.. Roger Clemens Is good right now (except wins) he has a superb ERA .... but not worth Beltran .. you could get more for him .. he is one of the best Fantasy Bats (top 5) .. you could get a great pitcher and a good bat with this guy .. dont do it, counter it with a better pitcher and 1 better bat than those 2.
Good Luck

as long as beltran is pounding the ball i think you should keep him.

however, if you are very weak at Catcher and 2B, and have a solid OF to replace him with, consider the trade(but keep in mind you might lose a few HR and RBI)

Depends...who are you dropping? Then you can look at this for the 3-for-3 trade that it really is. Unless your team is total garbage, you probably don't want to do this deal.

Who are you dropping? If your dropping Jered Weaver to grab Clemens then I have big problems with it, but if your dropping Jansen, then that's better.
Beltran is a first rounder now, keep that in mind.
