Unless there are HUGE, HUGE mountains, every regular race stage in a major tour (other than the time trials) seems to end in a pack sprint finish, with the same 2-4 people nearly always winning it. Wouldn't it be better if they could somehow get rewards for being in a break-away, and if break-aways could have motorised pacer assistance to help them stay clear, and to help further break-aways catch the front break-away group?

I found a bike frame recently, and it needs some work, but it functions. The chain, however, is badly rusted, and I can't get it off. The only tools I have are limited to very few, and I can't get the chain off using them. A friend suggested bolt cutters, but his dad owns a pair, not me. I can't afford to buy the tool used to remove a chain, so can anyone give me a poor man's solution? Any help is appreciated, I need answers by tomorrow, that's when my friend's coming over to help fix up the bike to make it work.

The tires don't support my full weight and make a squeeky sound, even when pumped up all the way. The bike can easily support me, so do I need new tubes? And how do I select them?

My daughters bike is stuck with this combo cable lock on it.
We have tried and tried to get it to release with the correct combo in place.

Anyone have any ideas?

I'm a runner and I want to bike for cross training. What are some good workouts I can do, and what will they do for me? I would like to improve my strength and anaerobic capacity before endurance. I don't need to transition into biking, as I'm already in fantastic shape. (Unless there's something I don't know) Thanks.

I ride an 04 Raliegh M60 and I recently put a new SRAM chain on. Before the change-out the old chain worked fine, it was just worn out. Any way now the new chain skips in gears higher than 6. I have a mega 9 drivetrain with a Shim Deore Rear Der. Tried to add tension didn't work. The der is adjusted by lbs.
