Trek 4300 cost $389 and the Giant Yukon cost $469. Im just buying it to ride trails around my house. If you know anything about bike which one would you go with? Thanks for your input.

Thanks for the help. I bought the trek 4300 yellow and charcole without the disc brakes. Would have been another $110 and they said for the riding I do it wont be worth it.

Trek bikes are the truth........frame design and specs are just better than giant ...buy the trek you wont be dissapointed

Trek...anyday, always, Trek...i own a 4900 Alpha. Great bikes, the 4300 is the best for the money.

In that price category the $100 price difference in components won't be noticed. Get the Trek and some good gloves and a helmet. Have a blast..... I love my Cannondale, but it set me back $1,200 and that was on sale for a prior years model.

Also check out Gary Fisher. They offer bikes in similar price ranges with equally good, sometimes better, components.
