okay so DK bicycle co. just fired chris doyle this week for those of you who dont know hes a pro bmx rider and he got fired from dk for starting a company that makes only grips and tires when dk only makes 2 pairs of grips how freakin retarded is that he was th best person on th team too and now they just fire him outa nowhere with a stupid reason

It's called a conflict of interest. How can he be an employee and competitor at the same time? He may use info from DK at his own company and dip in on their profits. Would you want your competition knowing all your secrets? I think not. They made a wise business decision-- that's all.

I'm sure it was in his contract somewhere that he only represents dk co. He knew exactly what he was getting into. I used to be in that industry with skateboarding and it is all stupid. People are so nit picky and way to protective of what their riders are doing and wearing. When you get sponsored, you basically become an owned walking billborad for a money grubbing company who's product is probably crappy anyways cause it was puchased from Taiwan or some other third world sweat shop factory.

OMFG?!?! they did ?? I'm a local flatland BMX rider and i met him!! DOYLE? FIRED? DK makes the best bikes though. That is stupid...
