I've formerly been a competitive runner and triathlete but will now just focus on cycling. How should I train for these in order to be competitive. I would like to climb the ranks beginning from Cat 5 and move up as quick as I can. I'm beginning in January with a 10 race series (roughly one a month)

I am tempted to buy an electric mountain bike but don't know anyone who has one.

Yes, I KNOW it's better to cycle, but I do plenty of exercise and want to use an electric bike as an alternative to the car now and again.

So are they any good? What is their range? And do they cope with hills?

I have a piercing "down there." I recently started riding a bike to/from work. These two things seem to be highly incompatable. Any advice? I know there are horn-less saddles out there, but I'd rather not get one if there's any other option.

I am new into cyling and just gotten an old Schwinn racer. Its a chromoly frame and its heavy compared to modern racer like Trek 1200. I wonder if its a lot harder to ride on a heavier bike

I am a 6' 2" guy, does that matter when choosing? I know nothing about bikes, I need one to get around for a few weeks, to pedal to work and whatnot.
