I was going the opposite direction on a sidwalk until I could get to the nearest stoplight, when a car came out of a parking lot without looking and hit me causing me to chip a tooth. When I called their insurance they said they are not going to pay for my dental fee because I was going the wrong direction on the SIDEWALK. Do I have a good case to sue them?

I got a new bike with disk breaks since I do a lot of road riding, but it's a hybrid because I do some trail, so it's got a mountain bike frame. Anyways, I'm having a real hard time getting the front tire centered really well and it seems like my front disk break keeps rubbing the tire at one point. I can get it nice and centered sometimes when my quick release is off, but as soon as I tighten it, it gets off again. Are there any special methods or tools that people use for this? The gap between the disk and the breaks is so much smaller than the old rim breaks on my previous bike.

i am a young bike mechanic with a few years experience working on bikes. i have accumulated a mass of information during these years, especially upgrading a project bike from $200 to $1700, and working with several friends' bikes.

i was thinking of making an instructional movie on mountain bike repair for anyone who has a bike. it would include every aspect of mtb repair. i would package it on a professional looking DVD with a text file to go along with the DVD.

i no there are not a whole bunch of movies that teach these sort of things for beginners and pros alike. i would sell the package at around $15 for the DVD and manual (cheaper than any other reapir vid i've seen) do you think there is a demand for a product such as this?

I do lots of small to mid sized drops, wheelies, jumps, stairs and other kinds of free style rideing. I some times do trails but most of the time i stick to the roads and i wonder what kind of a bike would be suited for me if I want to spent from 5-8 hundred dollars on a bike? and it would be better if the bike have at more than 100mm of travel but just 100mm is fine too.
it would be great if some one can help me out with this.

I need a new road bike, and I know a thing or two about bikes, but not enough to choose a great bike. I would like a LeMond, but I would like a better bike if one exists, which I'm sure does, such as Nishiki. So please help, I don't really care about cost.

Does anyone have any idea how many calories are burned at a standard/slow pace using a mini-exercise bike?

Here's an example of one: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=3297829

Does it burn the same amount of calories as a regular exercise bike? I would think not, but hoped someone would know.
