ScottUSA departed from the states a while ago, but they're pretty strong in Europe. They've been trying to get back to the States, but a patent infrigment with Specialized has made their return not that fast.
I think that the only problem they have is with some dual suspension bikes, not their hardtails and some full suspension bikes, I think you'll see more of them in the future.
BTW, they make some really nice bikes, and they're still strong.

I believe that Scott is now defunct... the name may have been purchased by another company but I don't think so.
They may still be available in Europe, but I think they have vanished from the U.S.
