I have a soft spot for De La Hoya, what with me being of Latin decent and all. I hope he pulls it out but Mayweather is a defensive genious. What do you guys think?

I watched one fight and was curious. It almost looked as though it was deliberately distorted by the company airing the fight.

Remember the good ol' days when you could see some good matches on a Saturday afternoon on CBS, NBC, and ABC? Fighters like Mancini, Camacho, Arguello, Mugabi, Rosario, and countless others thrilled us each Saturday with good fights? Now it is rumored that Tarver will fight on free tv and that depending on how well the numbers do, boxing could be back on free tv soon. Is this the shot in the arm that boxing may need to get the casual fan more into the sport?

You have to hand it to Miranda for stepping up to the plate and taking on the undefeated and dangerous Allan Green and beating him convincingly, and now he's coming right back with a fight this summer against the undefeated and dangerous Kelly Pavlik. He's showing that he's willing to fight anyone to earn his title shot, and that's the way boxing should be. Do you think he's the next Middleweight champ?
