I think it has to be Wladimir Klitschko by default. He has the size, strength, speed and agility to be great, but he's been dissapointing until recently. But he is definitely the best of the current belt holders.

Valuev is getting by on his size advantage only.
Briggs won his belt on a ko in the 12th round of a fight he was losing.
Maskaev did the same as Briggs.

The other heavyweight that is on Wladimir's level right now is Sam Peter, who has improved noticeably since losing a decision to Wladimir a few years ago. And even though he lost, he knocked Wlad down 3 times.

Who ever he is, he's probably toiling away at some miserable job dreaming of something better, there got to be more talented boxers out there that what is currently classed as champions in the heavyweight division. Right now the best active heavyweight is the older Klitschko, Wladmir, but one punch could change that in the blink of an eye.

I'd say Wlad right now. It would be an easier call to make if the top guys would actually fight each other.

whoever holds the belt i guess..boxing doesnt have that 1 special guy right now,,its everyone still trying to figure it out..as soon as you think one guy is ,he loses, tough to say right now but i always thought one of klitchko (or whatever their last name is) brothers should of been a good fighter but they never panned out..i really think if tyson had a good motivator he couild still be good ,,but he lost that toughness in the ring for whatever reason..always loved tyson for some reason,,but alas hes retired.
