Gambler ~

It's taking place right now in New Jersey on a trial basis. I think that it would bring a this sport into the 21st Century. It has improved all other sports it has been used when a bad call are or are not called. The fight two weeks ago when Marco Antoino fought Juan Manuel would have been the ideal place for it after the knockdown was missed by the referee.

Thanks for the great question Gambler

You would have to have instant replay after EVERY fight, not just a few. And who would decide whether or not the judges scored for the correct winner? And if someone was picked to oversee, then there wouldn't be a need for judges. Boxing is a very subjective sport and "instant replay" is not going to solve the perceived judging problems. Please remember that ringside judges are trained and see things differently than the untrained spectator who watches from a seat in the venue, or his couch, or a bar stool, or.........Frankly, I think it would open a huge can of worms.

Instant replay is long over due in boxing, and Santana nailed another one, the blogbaba on the other hand is still trying to find the "top contributor" logo that he briefly had and lost. Trapped on the porch with the puppys again, while the big dogs roam the neigborhood. Well, nothing lasts forever, even the blogbaba's former logo.

Interesting concept. Especially with the sh*tty judging/refereeing as of late.
