Boxing

Whenever me and my friend box I get scared to hit back even when I get to the point of getting pissed off. How can I get over that? Its not that I feel like Im gonna hurt em' but because I know he's better than me.

I just bought a 70 pound heavy bag (I'm 6'1" 300 lbs). I've had some martial arts training, but have never boxed. I've always gone bare hand on the various hand held pads (up to a full body pad) but I think a heavy bag is a totally different animal. I also bought a pair of Century brand "leather wrap gloves" which the guy at Academy told me should be sufficient to protect my hands. However, most folks at retail establishments are poorly trained and don't know much about their products. Is it necessary for me to wrap my hands?

WHY o' WHY doesn’t HBO, Shotime or any other pay-per view boxing matches ever show the hotties in-between rounds? You always hear the hooting, hollering and whistling but never catch a glimpse of the woman holding the upcoming round card.

The other day my son came to me with a flyer about this boxing show that is supposed to encourage people to solve their problems with boxing instead of gun violence. My son has been really trying to allow me to let him go on this show due to "issues" he has had and still have in the area. Long story short, I finally gave in and said yes, but I'm not sure if I made the right decision. I went onto their website ("1-on-1boxing.com") and checked out what their about, but I'm still a little torn with my decision. Did I make the right choice?

amir khan fought a boxer called Ryan Barret who was over six foot if he was an inch a southpaw who proceeded to fight in a crouch style he never landed one punch on Khan and was pushed over three times in the first round he fell over like a footballer who was threatenend with a tackle, shouild the Britsh boxing control stop promoters from mismatching a boxer to enhance his money making potential, we are the mugs who pay for this farce and i for one will not go to another so called proffesional fight. anyone else with me?
