I would have liked to have been the first o answer your question but I've been away for a couple of days. Great to see the you're still asking the best Who vs Who questions. Humberto wouldn't last 6 rounds with Ricardo. Humberto's fights with Mike "Little Hands of Stone" were brutal fights for both guys, first Humberto's Knockout loss and then his awful beating of Mike in the rematch really showed what those two guys were made of unfortunately it wasn't the same stuff Lopez was, Ricardo was the one of the Greatest Flyweights in the History of the division. He could box he could punch and always he was a gentlemen inside the ring and out. He had no problem fighting Humberto's style 90% of the Mexican fighters he fought all had Humberto's style and he beat them soundly. That looping overhand right that he use to throw would be countered by Ricardo all fight long. That mad rush he would do with his hands held high would be met with lefts and rights to the body and uppercuts up the middle, anything Humberto would bring to the table Ricardo would have a answer for. This would have been a great match up but Ricardo was way too much for Humberto. Thanks Brent.

Hey Brent F! Interesting question as Gonzalez was a very durable and tough as nails no nonsense fighter. Lopez is one of the greatest fighters of all time with his undefeated record of 51-0-1 38 kayo's. He had great power and boxing ability. I believe that for about 7 rounds Gonzalez would hold his own vs Lopez who would start landing very hard punches to the head and body forcing the referee to stop the contest in the 10th round.
