if i didnt have a bad back i would be a pro boxer right now..i have always wanted to box ever since i could remember, sheeit im only 26, i think about it every day...maybe i should do some training...it Could help me loose a lil weight if nothing....i would put the hands on laila ali and anyone else who wanted some.........anyway just thought id share since im watching womens boxing right now..

Ali,Frazier,Foreman,Norton, a young Holmes, Bonavena, Shavers, Lyle, Young, Quarry, Ellis, Chuvalo.. et al....Granted not all on the list were champions, but they were competitive. some of those men could have been champions in different eras of the heavyweight division..
If not what era in your opinion was the golden age?

i usually follow espn.com's boxing section and boxrec.com, but there must be better sources out there. what boxing websites, or online groups do you use? or how about magazines? do you recommend ring magazine or any other one? i like all of the divisions but follow heavyweights more closely.

I would like to know what is the best strategy for beating someone who just wildly throws crazy punches. would I just back away because I would say that my attacker throws punches pretty quick but crazy.
