Honeyghan - W 43 (KO's 30) TF 48 - W pct 90% - KO pct 63% - wins over D. Curry, J. Bumphus, M. Blocker and G. Hatcher - KO'ed by M. Starling, V. Pazienza and M. Breland
Gave up WBA title in protest by refusing to fight Volbrecht of South Africa.

Trinidad - W 42 (KO's 35) TF 44 - W pct 95% - KO pct 80% - wins over Whitaker, De LaHoya (highly disputed), Mayorga, W. Joppy and F. Vargas - KO'ed by Hopkins - #30 ranked puncher - #51 ranked fighter
Titles 147, 154 and 160

In this bout Honeyghan would come forward not respecting Trinidad or his punching power. Trinidad wins by KO inside of 10 rds.

This is what I mean about objective opinions; I wasn't a fan of Trinidad but I have picked him in the last 2 Dream Fights.

Lloyd Honeyghan shocked the world when he knocked out Donald Curry in 7 rounds. He was a very clever fighter with really good boxing ability. Trinidad is also a very good boxer with excellent power. This is a good question sir and really hard to pick a winner. I believe that Honeyghan outboxes Trinidad and wins a close decision.

Trinidad would stop Honeygan in the middle rounds. Lloyd was a good fighter but often had issues with "getting up" for a fight and often came into a fight in less then great condition.

Depends when they fought. I'd have to give the edge to Trinidad, though.
